    I tried booking the appointment through the app and was informed I would receive a call to confirm the appointment for that Saturday morning. I never received a call to confirm. I then recalled the service dept. and made a new appointment and was told it would be week and a half out due to just a diagnostic appointment. I was called and told that the appointment time wouldn't work but that they could get me in earlier in the daylight which I agreed to. I arrived for my appointment and the service manager showed that I was due for the later time. He said it wasn't an issue and went ahead and serviced it. I was kept informed but the amount of items, along with the anticipated costs were way too much. I know that a couple of the items were simple fixes and others were indeed needed due to mileage and age of vehicle. Bottom line, is you will catch more bears with honey if you offer to give a little on the simple things. It shows dedication to the brand, support brand loyalty from the customer POV and shows you appreciate the customer bringing their vehicle to your service dept.

    I scheduled my car for two recalls (software replacement and door handle replacement) to be performed on 1/8/25 and received a loaner car. The work was not completed and I was told that it might be not be done until Friday 1/10. But it was actually 1/16, as I recall, when it was completed. All of the personnel who talkked to me were courteous and seemed to want to help but claiamed to be powerless to fix the problem. Service said that they are not allowed to do their own scheduliing and that the schedulers had booked in too may cars. Then I was told that VW had shipped wrong parts for doors, and then that the software update requires 3 separate steps and frequently stops and must be begun again. Nice polite people who blame someone else in the organization reflect badly on both VW and the dealership. I bought a car from Flow which represents VW to me. You have a process problems, not bad people. I hope you'll fix them. IN ADDITION, now that I have driven with the new software for a few days, in note that the lanekeeping assistance has changed to allow a smaller margin from lane lines. I think VW should provide a clear written description of any performance changes that will be caused by software updates and that should be provided BEFORE the work is done. I've taken time to give you constructive feedback. I would appreciate specific replies to my comments from both VW and Flow. Thank you.
